House of Sunshine is located in beautiful Southern California. Fusing the beauty of nature and artistry, House of Sunshine can customize any special event, home décor, wearables and even landscape design with a unique eclectic style. Being in California, we specialize in drought tolerant plants like succulents and other natives that need occasional water. We pride ourselves with the highest quality of products and customer satisfaction.

To owner, Julie Jueden, as a former make-up artist, creativity comes second nature. Growing up in southern California and finding her bohemian spirit in San Francisco, a passion for plants and eclectic designed started early for the owner of House of Sunshine. The backdrop of The Pacific Ocean and the vibrant beat of The City inspires so many of her custom designs. Julie is sought after and recognized for her artistic eye. Her creative designs have landed her a spot not only as a featured monthly artist at Anthropologie Newport Beach but also as a preferred vendor for BHDLN (Anthropolgie’s exclusive wedding line) Her indoor plant styling and landscape work can be found in the most exclusive neighborhoods of Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Monarch Beach, San Juan Capistrano San Clemente.

Julie originally reached out to us to design her logo. Her business was growing rapidly and her logo wasn't representing the sophistication and success of her business. It was important that House of Sunshine would transform from Pinterest Mommy-Blogger toHigh-End Plant Stylist. We were ready to take on the challenge!

Originally we created a monogram logo to tie up the letters and use the "O" in "of" to represent a sun. Although this mark was made of clean, simple lines, it still told the House of Sunshine story. After incorporating this logo onto some marketing collateral, we decided it didn't fully display Julie's bubbly, sunny personality and the one-of-a-kind, personal experience of House of Sunshine offers. We went back to the drawing board and created the final logo that not only resembles the circular succulent shape, but also makes the sunshine more obvious than our initial logo.

At the end of the branding process, we decided that the House of Sunshine website also needed to reflect the new branding. We completely rebuilt the House of Sunshine website from the ground up to truly reflect her new business model.

The owner, Julie, is incredibly business, and she needed the website to work as her personal assistant. From ordering forms to detailed explanations of what she offers, this Squarespace site handles all of the back-and-forth between her and her clients.

We also made custom design elements to incorporate throughout her site to make it a whimsical and fun user-experience. This website is one of our favorites yet and we're excited to see it in-action!
